I hear the secrets that you keep...

The other morning as I was getting ready Lucie yelled out as loud as she is capable, "Mommy I didn't want you to eat the other one! No! No! No!"

A week from today melissa and I leave for here:

(A little vague, I know)

I have been keeping this a secret for so long (from her anyway) that it's getting very hard not to tell her. However, I may have some post-partum afterwards. This is how I roll.

Case in point: As a kid I would get gar (who was then known only as "ry-guy") to line up all of his toys on one side of the room while I would dump out my red milk-crate full on my side and carefully line them up. This would take what seemed like hours. When we were finally done we would say, "ok, let's start the battle." 7 seconds later I would lose interest.

I'm all about the build up, and unfortunately am sometimes let down by the actual event. But this will soon change! Next week in Newark will be MIND-BLOWING!!! (actual location may vary)

Scary fact #2: When left to herself, Lucie's absolute favorite thing to do is to make a "line."
Example:

yikes.

My first entry from an ipad

Don't get too excited, it's not MY iPad. I'm just at the local apple store. But wow, this thing is sweet!
One day. One...day.

finally found this

Sorry to have neglected you Mr. Blog. But I found something worth posting.

In elementary school I remember watching this really strange movie about a world where it never stopped raining. I had no idea who wrote it or who was in it. A few years ago I tried to see if I could find it online and was unsuccessful. But today I found it! "It's called All Summer in a Day" and it's based on a short story by Ray Bradbury. Does anyone else remember this or was my school the only one that made their kids watch such weird stuff?
